Welcome to The Game of Life — and How to Play It. Be True to YouYou live and star in your own movie. Perspective shift: You can be, do, and have whatever you want. You can just be your true and authentic self — Keep reading to find out how to start 💡 Failure is just an opportunity to choose differently. It happens to everyone. No one gets everything perfect all the time. Any pain you experience will be short-lived. You’ll become aware of how the world works — You’ll become vitally aware of how your mind, body, and emotions work. Pain flows. On that note — nothing lasts forever. We exist. 🌟 The Quickest Route to Your Highest SelfWhat’s the quickest route to your highest self? It’s probably the direction you don’t want to go. The direction your gut is whispering, This is where faith becomes your compass — Gather your courage. Your blocks, fears, and triggers aren’t obstacles — 🧭 Being ResourcedThe way to move through these seemingly insurmountable barriers Being resourced means having the right tools to deal with life. I first heard this term in therapy a couple of years ago. 🧰 To name a few tools:
Just like a carpenter needs different tools for different projects, A mind full of racing or ruminating thoughts is full — it needs to be emptied. How? Exercise can drain the brain for a while, A better tool is writing. ✍️ Journaling for even 15 minutes straight You might think talking to a friend helps, 🧩 The Right Tools for the Right ProblemsAnother common issue is worry — In that case, reaching out to a trusted friend is the right tool. Another powerful tool for worry or fear is service. Do something kind for someone else. The benefits of spreading loving-kindness are endless — 🚀 Leveling Up in the Game of LifeThis is what being resourced means: It’s how you get good at the Game of Life. Just like in a video game, The more you engage — the more you live — the better you get. And here’s the thing: If you want to stay in the same place, you can. But if you want to keep growing — Keep showing up. When you open your heart and open your mind, That’s how you rise to higher levels of this experience — 💫 The Cheat Codes to LifeWhat’s the easiest way to beat a video game? And what could really help you navigate life like a pro? 🌀 Super Power: MeditationSlows everything down. 💖 Super Power: LoveOvercomes any negativity, fear, or hate. 🌿 Super Power: Forgiveness (a.k.a. Acceptance)Nothing from the past can hurt you anymore. 🌞 Super Power: GratitudeThere’s always something in your life to lift you up — just notice it. 🙏 Super Power: PrayerWhen there’s no hope, no way out, when you feel trapped — Are these all the cheat codes? Are these all the resources? Just like jumping, ducking, character selection, Look at it the other way — without using them:

On these types of days, I must take time out for gratitude. I am thankful for my license. I can drive to the coffee shop and get a coffee. I get to listen to the kids working and laughing about some dumb kid things, lol. I have clean water and clothes. I am not locked up or being tortured. I can read, write, see, walk, talk, touch, feel, taste, and experience life today. I know the sun is shining so bright behind the clouds. Thank you, sun ☀️ Now, onward…. I like cake. I like to have my cake...
Consistency Crew You’re probably wondering, “Why am I getting these newsletters every day?” 😂 How do we reach big goals? One of the key ingredients is being consistent about taking inspired action. I’m consistent with some things — and totally inconsistent with others. That’s kind of how most humans operate, right? To get somewhere new, we have to break out of our current patterns. Right now, I’m in the pattern of being good — good with myself, good with life. By “good,” I mean balanced,...
I’ve been an IT Engineer my entire adult life. Servers, programming, cybersecurity—you name it. I spent years in the trenches analyzing, troubleshooting, and architecting my way through life. When my world fell apart in 2020, I had the chance to rethink everything. When life as you know it completely disintegrates, it can also be an invitation to start over. Of course, at the time, I wasn’t exactly celebrating like, “Oh wow, everything’s destroyed—yay, I get to rebuild, woo hoo!” But you get...
