Consistency CrewYou’re probably wondering, “Why am I getting these newsletters every day?” 😂 How do we reach big goals? One of the key ingredients is being consistent about taking inspired action. I’m consistent with some things — and totally inconsistent with others. That’s kind of how most humans operate, right? To get somewhere new, we have to break out of our current patterns. Right now, I’m in the pattern of being good — good with myself, good with life. By “good,” I mean balanced, well, healthy, whole, happy. For over a year, I had a mantra I repeated daily: “Be good. Do good.” It was my code. I had been a very bad boy. I wrecked a lot of things. I hurt people I loved. I went against the grain — and it created the worst life possible for me: deep, dark despair. In this new era of life, I’m going the opposite direction. I’m choosing to be a very good boy and to do very good things. Okay, I know I don’t have to be that extreme — but that’s just my personality. I go all in. I don’t like being lukewarm about things. If we’re going to go, LET’S GO. The consistency I’m talking about could apply to anything — writing a newsletter, taking your morning walk, calling your mom, eating healthy, cleaning the house every Sunday. At first, we do it. Then the next week rolls around and we’re busy, distracted, forgetful, or we lose momentum. I’ve done some monumental things in my life. When I began those journeys, I make a decision: “I’m going to do this — and nothing will stop me.” And then… the only thing that ever stops me is me. I’m the one who fades, gives up, or changes direction. I want to write. (amongst other things) I have things to say. I want to help people. It’s new. It feels clunky. But so did computer work when I started. So did riding a bike. So did meditating. I didn’t plan to publish newsletters every day — it just happened. I have a dream, and the powers that be are leading me toward it. Something inside said, “Publish your writing today.” So I did. The next day, the same voice said, “Do it again.” And again the next day. And again. Here we are — October 7th — publishing again. This is how our minds work when we have a goal and stay tuned into the Universe, God, Spirit, Source — whatever name you use. Things start working in our favor. Doors open. The path lights up before us. And before we know it, we’ve arrived where we planned to go. Then it’s time to dream again. I hope this inspires you to take some time today to dream about something you’ve always wanted to do — and start working toward it. This path has been years in the making, and yet it still feels brand new. Late Bloomers Who Prove It’s Never Too Late

Hi Reader! What does it look like to “level up” in life? I’m assuming you want to level up, right? Next level at work. Next level of peace. Next level of love. Next level of abundance. Next level of fitness. Do you know how you actually level up? “Start doing things you don’t normally do towards the desire you want to achieve.” Now when I say don’t normally do, that might mean doing completely different things, but it can also mean doing the same things in a different way. Like at the gym....
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” One of my favorite quotes in the ancient texts. I believe we are born with new minds — and then the world starts to tell us how to be, how to act, what to think. We had emotions but didn’t know how to express them. We learned things that didn’t seem right, but that was just the way it was. Eventually, hopefully, the pattern of this world becomes too much and we have a break. The misery outweighs...
Life is what you make it. You can heap burning coals on your head, or you can live in heaven on Earth. My life has been both. Over the years, I have figured out that I can be as happy as I want to be. Here is how: let go of expectation, want, and need. Now, I am not just talking about material possessions ... how about the want to be somewhere you're not? How about the need to be approved of or accepted? Or how about needing the past to be different than it is? These are examples at the core...
