How Daily Action Turns Dreams Into Reality

Consistency Crew

You’re probably wondering, “Why am I getting these newsletters every day?” 😂

How do we reach big goals? One of the key ingredients is being consistent about taking inspired action.

I’m consistent with some things — and totally inconsistent with others.

That’s kind of how most humans operate, right?

To get somewhere new, we have to break out of our current patterns.

Right now, I’m in the pattern of being good — good with myself, good with life.

By “good,” I mean balanced, well, healthy, whole, happy.

For over a year, I had a mantra I repeated daily:

“Be good. Do good.”

It was my code.

I had been a very bad boy.

I wrecked a lot of things.

I hurt people I loved.

I went against the grain — and it created the worst life possible for me: deep, dark despair.

In this new era of life, I’m going the opposite direction.

I’m choosing to be a very good boy and to do very good things.

Okay, I know I don’t have to be that extreme — but that’s just my personality.

I go all in.

I don’t like being lukewarm about things.

If we’re going to go, LET’S GO.

The consistency I’m talking about could apply to anything —

writing a newsletter, taking your morning walk, calling your mom, eating healthy, cleaning the house every Sunday.

At first, we do it.

Then the next week rolls around and we’re busy, distracted, forgetful, or we lose momentum.

I’ve done some monumental things in my life.

When I began those journeys, I make a decision:

“I’m going to do this — and nothing will stop me.”

And then… the only thing that ever stops me is me.

I’m the one who fades, gives up, or changes direction.

I want to write. (amongst other things)

I have things to say.

I want to help people.

It’s new. It feels clunky.

But so did computer work when I started.

So did riding a bike.

So did meditating.

I didn’t plan to publish newsletters every day — it just happened.

I have a dream, and the powers that be are leading me toward it.

Something inside said, “Publish your writing today.” So I did.

The next day, the same voice said, “Do it again.”

And again the next day.

And again.

Here we are — October 7th — publishing again.

This is how our minds work when we have a goal and stay tuned into the Universe, God, Spirit, Source — whatever name you use.

Things start working in our favor.

Doors open.

The path lights up before us.

And before we know it, we’ve arrived where we planned to go.

Then it’s time to dream again.

I hope this inspires you to take some time today to dream about something you’ve always wanted to do — and start working toward it.

This path has been years in the making, and yet it still feels brand new.

Late Bloomers Who Prove It’s Never Too Late

  • Socrates – Never wrote a book; began teaching publicly in his 50s and changed Western philosophy forever.
  • Winston Churchill – Became Prime Minister at 65 after decades of setbacks; later won the Nobel Prize in Literature at 79.
  • Colonel Harland Sanders (KFC) – Founded KFC at 65 and built a global legacy from a lifetime of lessons.

Take some time today to dream up the most beautiful, fulfilling version of your life — and start taking inspired action toward it.

You might be amazed how quickly the imagined becomes real, long before you even realize you’ve arrived.

Much Love,

Casey

On these types of days, I must take time out for gratitude. I am thankful for my license. I can drive to the coffee shop and get a coffee. I get to listen to the kids working and laughing about some dumb kid things, lol. I have clean water and clothes. I am not locked up or being tortured. I can read, write, see, walk, talk, touch, feel, taste, and experience life today. I know the sun is shining so bright behind the clouds. Thank you, sun ☀️ Now, onward…. I like cake. I’ve been an IT Engineer my entire adult life. Servers, programming, cybersecurity—you name it. I spent years in the trenches analyzing, troubleshooting, and architecting my way through life. When my world fell apart in 2020, I had the chance to rethink everything. When life as you know it completely disintegrates, it can also be an invitation to start over. Of course, at the time, I wasn’t exactly celebrating like, “Oh wow, everything’s destroyed—yay, I get to rebuild, woo hoo!” But you get...
